Art & Soul Entry 2020

Camp Host on the Gros Ventre

This gentleman is my entry for Art & Soul this year.  It will be featured at Colliers International in Twin Falls.  They are located downtown in the remodeled building on the corner of 2nd and Shoshone.  You know, up stairs from Milner's Gate restaurant!  Happy to be showing this watercolor in their lovely venue.  The piece will be on display April 10-25.  Stop in for a look at this piece and don't forget to vote at Twin Falls Center for the Arts!

Art & Soul Entry!

This is my entry for Art & Soul this year.   I just dropped it off at Plant Therapy in downtown Twin Falls.  It will be there for the next couple of weeks.  Plant Therapy is a great sponsor of the arts!  They have at least 5-6 other Art & Soul entries on display, and their venue is easy to find.  Stop in to say hello, see the art, and shop the vast array of essential oils they have on display!  510 2nd Ave S.

I'm back! Been a long time since I posted!

Gallery Opening at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts on Thursday, Nov. 15 from 5-7p.m.

Come and see my new watercolor paintings in the Full Moon Gallery.
This sunflower piece is on display along with my other new  ink and watercolor pieces.  The painting is large, 22"x30" watercolor paper and even bigger with mat and frame.  It is part of my "WILD" series.  Time to break out of old habits and try something new.  I am using India ink to do the drawing with wide sweeps and splotches, and adding watercolor to the piece.  Great fun!

Getting Ready

My entry for Art & Soul this year is called Morning Still.  The contest is in April, but had to get my entry in early, so am posting it now so that I can direct interested venue owners to the site for a look.  This piece is large (22" x 30") and is just a bit of whimsy after breakfast.  The duck usually resides in my husband's office, but was borrowed for this breakfast occasion.  I rather like him!

Jardin de Fleurs

I have wanted to dig back into my long stem series for a while and have combined the flowers from my front yard to create this bigger piece.  Somehow digging back into my high school French for flower paintings feels right.   This painting and others are on display at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts as part of the South Central Regional Idaho Watercolor Society Show.  Good fun and good comments last night at the opening!

Le Bouquet

Art and Soul of the Magic Valley starts tomorrow in Twin Falls.  Two full weeks of art on display all around town.  This is a pic of my entry for the contest.  I am fortunate to have my painting on display at Rosebud's Florist here in Twin Falls.  Nice people and a great store.  Desiree said she was going to do a look alike bouquet to display near my piece.  Cool huh!
