Cabin Flowers from Sketchbook
The day was chilly so time at the dining room table with these sunflowers was the alternative to being out in the sprinkling rain. We always love our time on Hood Canal. Lots of great food, time together with family, and the free time to paint at will.

Painting the Henry's Fork
We were fortunate to spend time in June on the Henry's Fork in Island Park. We camped and fished and painted with our friends the Smiths. We had another wonderful, memorable time that included great meals, wonderful scenery, and plenty of painting time. The wildflowers were unbelievable this year! Fields of Mules Ear stretched to the mountains. Unbelievable display!

Below Johnson Grade
Painted last week with the Plein Air Painters of Idaho. Nice people to hang out with and good painters too. While on our painting trek, we discovered places around Hagerman that I had not seen before. This view looks at Johnson Grade, another semi-secret way to climb out of the canyon. It is a steep gravel road and an adventure in scenic views. While painting here we enjoyed the crystal clear water and marsh wildlife along the edges of Billingsley Creek.

Rosie's Riverside Trailer
Spent Tuesday painting with friends at Rosie's new getaway place on the Snake River. As we wandered the property, I discovered this trailer parked on the river bank. I had to paint it because it reminded me of the trailer that we had when our girls were little. It brought back nice memories of camping on the North Fork of Deer Creek near Hailey. This one is now a permanent resident on the river, and a getaway for Rosie's guests.
