Jardin de Fleurs

I have wanted to dig back into my long stem series for a while and have combined the flowers from my front yard to create this bigger piece.  Somehow digging back into my high school French for flower paintings feels right.   This painting and others are on display at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts as part of the South Central Regional Idaho Watercolor Society Show.  Good fun and good comments last night at the opening!

Coming to The Gallery Today?

Spring opening at The Gallery today.  The Gallery is a co-op that includes nearly 50 artists.  It is located in the Lynwood Shopping Center in Twin Falls.  Come by and check out the new work by local artists.  I will be there for part of the day and have just added cards and hand painted gift bags for Mother's Day if you are looking for something unique for that special MOM in your life.  Stop by and say hello!  Music from 4-8 p.m., and of course we will have those lovely European pastry treats to sample while you enjoy the art.

New at "The Gallery" in Twin Falls

New works at the co-op called The Gallery include my latest small works - 5"x 5". These are displayed with table top frames.  Nice for an accent in a book case or on a side table.  These pieces are a reflection of my ever changing summer flower garden...so great this year!  Come into The Gallery (located in the Lynwood Shopping Center in Twin Falls) to see these and all the other new works by area artists.
