Crossings Winery Show - May!

Busy getting ready for the Crossings Winery Show where my work will be featured for the month of May.  The Show is called SEASONS.  I have a lot of new work to show at the winery and look forward to my Opening Night on May 7.  Stop by!  Would love to see you!

Getting Ready

My entry for Art & Soul this year is called Morning Still.  The contest is in April, but had to get my entry in early, so am posting it now so that I can direct interested venue owners to the site for a look.  This piece is large (22" x 30") and is just a bit of whimsy after breakfast.  The duck usually resides in my husband's office, but was borrowed for this breakfast occasion.  I rather like him!

More Holiday Coloring Cards

My printer just called and my cards are ready for pickup, so I am sure that I will have plenty on Saturday at the Art of the Gift:  Authors and Artists on the Rim, a wonderful Art Fair at the

 Twin Falls Center for the Arts!

Above is a sample from my second series of  Holiday Coloring Cards.  I have three sets.  All are printed in black and white.  Five different cards in each set, or you can choose from singles. Color them to suit your fancy before you send, or let your friends and family take part in the fun!   

Holiday Coloring Cards

Love the Adult Coloring Book trend going on right now!  It inspired sets of globes to send out as holiday cards.  Send the cards just as they are or add your own coloring.  A gift either way.  I will have them on sale at the Gift Fair at Twin Falls Center for the Arts on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Festival of Giving

This painting is called First Snow.  It is on display at the Festival of Giving at the Southern Idaho Landscape Center as part of the fundraiser for local non-profits.  The Magic Valley Arts Council has sponsored a tree and the buyer will take home this painting as well!  The opening gala last night was very festive, beautifully decorated and it was so good to see old friends and meet some new ones!

Underfoot!

More aspens!  This piece is an experiment in negative painting which means that I start with a design and then paint the negative spaces around it adding more leaves as it goes deeper.  Also experimenting with water droplets.  All fun!

Time for Aspens!

Nature Patterns is the name of this latest piece in my Aspen Series.  I placed it today in the Full Moon Gallery at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts.  Stop in the lobby to see it and let me know what you think.  Look closely for the residents of this piece.
